Resumo

This paper aims to give a general view about the concept of barriers to mobility,
both Inter and intraindustrials. The paper is divided into four sections, which are
concerned with their measurement, origins and features, and some theories on entry,
respectively. Concluding remarks are presented in the fourth and last section.
