Para uma abordagem sócio-econômica da inflação brasileira: uma leitura a partir da obra de Georg Simmel
Resumo
Based upon the utilization of the concept of "a high inflation regime", the article
tries to identify the multiple determinants of the behavior of a monetary economy
which allow to interpret the construction of the social order within a context where
the currency gets fragilized. Therefore it resorts to the work by Georg Simmel, an
author who examines the diversity of relations between the emergence of the
monetary economy and of the individualist society and who considers the currency
as the most complete expression of the social order. Having a dialog with Simmers
assertions, it tries to understand, from the investigation on the limits of a fully
developed monetary economy, the contemporary social organization of Brazil.
