Starting from a concise description of labor market in France, the
author tries to outline globalization effects in that market. Next, the indirect
impacts of this worldwide process on French economic policy are
examined, leaving for last a series of specific topics on French labor
policy. These steps take us to the paper's aim: labor policy, the French
case.
