O milagre asiático: avanços e recuos na explicação ortodoxa
Resumo
The well succeeded fast growing and balanced experience of East
Asian late industrialization countries has constituted itself into an
empirical basis for the validation of two distinct set of theses: the ones
which emphasize the role of the market, and the ones that highlight
State's activism. The former reflect the view of International multilateral
organs, such as the World Bank and the economic mainstream. Within
this pole, the theme of development has recently undergone an attempt
to incorporate a more prominent role to public policies. We seek here to
map the terms of this attempt for East Asian fast growing countries.
