As exportações do agronegócio gaúcho em 2015

Resumo

O presente artigo tem como objetivo principal apresentar o resultado das exportações do agronegócio gaúcho em 2015. Paralelamente a esse objetivo, buscar-se-á também esboçar, através desta publicação, o potencial analítico da base de dados das exportações do agronegócio desenvolvida pelo Núcleo de Estudos do Agronegócio (NEA) da Fundação de Economia e Estatística (FEE). Observou-se que as exportações do agronegócio gaúcho, que, em 2015, totalizaram US$ 11,7 bilhões, representaram 68,1% das exportações totais do Estado naquele ano. Comparativamente ao ano anterior, houve uma queda, em valor, de 6,1%; em volume, verificou-se uma significativa elevação de 27,6% e, nos preços médios, uma redução de 26,4%. O principal setor exportador do agronegócio gaúcho em 2015 foi o complexo soja, com 45,3% da pauta, seguido pelos setores de carnes (17,0%), fumo e seus produtos (13,8%), cereais, farinhas e preparações (6,2%), couros e peleteria (4,2%) e produtos florestais (3,9%).

The export performance of the agribusiness of the State of Rio Grande do Sul in 2015

Abstract

This article aims to present the export performance of the agribusiness of the State of Rio Grande do Sul in 2015. Alongside this objective, we also seek to sketch, through this publication, the analytical potential of the export database of the agribusiness exports created by the Department of Agribusiness Studies (NEA) of the Economics and Statistics Foundation (FEE). It was noted that the exports of the state’s agribusiness, which, in 2015, totaled US$11.7 billion, accounted for 68.1% of its total exports in 2015. Compared to the previous year, there was a fall in value of 6.1%, a significant increase of 27.6% in volume, and a reduction of 26.4% in average prices. The main export sector of the state’s agribusiness in 2015 was the soy complex, with 45.3% of exports, followed by the meat industry (17.0%), tobacco and its products (13.8%), cereals, flour and preparations (6.2%), leather and hides (4.2%) and forestry products (3.9%).
