As relações capital - trabalho no limiar do século XXl
Resumo
This paper shows that there is not a single way out of the crisis of "fordist-type"
Capital-labour relations. Two main directions are possible ("flexibility" and "negocitated
involvement"). They are not completely mutualy consistent, and they are not
consistent with any given regional situation. The paper first studies the possibilities of
these alternatives in the various OECD countries. Then it extend the analysis to
Eastern Europe, China, India, and some Newly Industrializing Countries. Then it
analyses the different causal forces which will influence the outcome in each
territory, and the possibility to combine these solutions between territories. Social,
ecological, an macroeconomic constraints are considered.
