O setor informal urbano na África
Resumo
Followig the "lost dacade" of the 80's, Subsaharan África in the
90's is commited to economic liberalism and the expansion of the
private sector. In this connection, the urban informal sector provides
incomes and jobs. Thus, it becomes a major concern in terms of
coping strategies or In terms of economic development. Two
dimensions encompassing the informal sector are examined: first, real
activities relating to the output of commodities and services supplied
by non registered small-scale enterprises; second, savings and credit
resources belonging to informal finance. The relevance of the so-called
"dualism" questionned in so far as the informal sector is linked to the
official economy.
